Overview

WashOS has introduced a new Auto-generate schema setting that automatically builds schema markup for any page that goes live without it already in place.

Before this update, schema had to be added manually on a page-by-page basis inside the editor. Any page that got missed would publish without structured data, leaving SEO and AI search visibility (AEO/GEO) on the table.

With Auto-generate schema turned on, publishing a page that has no schema triggers the following:

  • WashOS AI generates schema markup for that page automatically in the background
  • Publishing speed is unaffected — generation happens in parallel and never delays the page going live
  • Any schema already on a page is left completely untouched
  • Works across all page-specific publish paths — Builder Publish, save-triggered publish, and version-history publish
  • Supported on Websites, Funnels, and Webinars

Find this setting inside Settings, under the new SEO & AEO section:

  • Auto-generate schema — "Automatically add schema markup to pages that don't have it when published."

Why This Matters

Schema markup drives rich results in Google and helps AI answer engines understand and reference your pages. It's easy to overlook when publishing. Auto-generation ensures every page that goes live has structured data attached — no manual steps required — keeping your SEO/AEO/GEO presence intact by default.

Impact on Existing Users

  • No data loss. All existing schema is preserved and will never be overwritten.
  • Assets created before this release: the setting defaults to OFF — nothing changes unless you enable it.
  • Assets created on or after this release: the setting defaults to ON — pages published without schema will receive it automatically.
  • Fully configurable — toggle it per Website, Funnel, or Webinar, then click Save.

Action Required

Nothing needed for existing assets — they stay on their current behavior (OFF). If you'd rather new assets skip auto-generation, head to Settings → SEO & AEO, switch the toggle off, and save.
