Wash Agency Platform Update

Automatically Associate CRM Records with Workflows

July 28, 2026

WashOS now includes the Associate Records workflow action, letting you automatically link CRM records together based on matching field values — no manual association required.

This action is available across Contacts, Companies, Opportunities, and Custom Objects, depending on your workflow type and configured associations.

What's New

With the Associate Records action, you can:

  • Search for records using one or more field-based filters
  • Pull merge fields from the enrolled record to use as filter values
  • Associate the earliest created, most recently created, or all matching records
  • Apply an existing association label to matched records
  • Build associations between different object types

How It Works

  1. Add the Associate Records action to a Contact, Company, or Custom Object workflow in WashOS.
  2. Choose the object that contains the records you want to link.
  3. Set up filters to pinpoint the right matching records.
  4. Decide how the workflow should handle multiple matches.
  5. Pick an association label if one is needed.
  6. Save and publish your workflow.

When more than one filter is applied, a record must satisfy every condition to be included.

Example

A real estate agency could automatically connect a buyer's contact record to Property records that align with their preferred city, property type, and bedroom count — keeping everything organized without any manual linking.

Why It Matters

The Associate Records action helps your team:

  • Cut down on time-consuming manual record linking
  • Keep CRM associations accurate and up to date
  • Build workflows that operate across related records
  • Automate processes spanning both standard and Custom Objects

Availability

Associate Records is currently accessible through WashOS Labs. To turn it on, navigate to:
